A progressive three-year curriculum
Year 1 — Building the foundations of nursing science
Fundamental sciences
Anatomie et physiologie, biologie humaine, microbiologie, parasitologie, biochimie, nutrition et diététique.
Foundations of care
The nursing profession, ethics and professional conduct, the national health system, care planning, therapeutic relationships, infection prevention and care techniques.
Community health and research
Primary healthcare, hygiene and sanitation, communication, professional English, statistics, digital technology and an introduction to research. Placements begin in the first year.
Year 2 — Strengthening clinical skills
Approfondissement de la traumatologie, chirurgie, pharmacologie, dermatologie, ORL, ophtalmologie, neurologie, pneumologie, urgences, urologie et autres disciplines cliniques.
La santé maternelle et infantile, les soins à la mère et au nouveau-né, le suivi postnatal, la planification familiale, la santé communautaire et les soins palliatifs occupent également une place importante.
Year 3 — Preparing for professional practice
Soins spécialisés en gériatrie, oncologie, endocrinologie, hématologie, cardiologie, psychiatrie, néphrologie et réanimation, complétés par l’imagerie médicale et les soins infirmiers spécialisés.
La dernière année renforce aussi la recherche, la supervision, la gestion, le leadership serviteur, l’éthique de gestion et le développement professionnel.
A program combining theory and practice
Placements allow students to apply their knowledge and develop professional skills in real situations. From the first year, the curriculum includes 6 credits, representing 270 placement hours.
Caring for the whole person
Biblical work ethics, biblical anthropology, holistic community health, a holistic approach to primary healthcare, servant leadership, management ethics and palliative care strengthen character, compassion, service and professional responsibility.
